Timer

An interval timer for routines you build yourself: any number of steps, in any order, repeated as often as you like, with your own voice and your own pictures. Free. No advertising, no purchases, no subscription. A COUNTDOWN YOU CAN READ ACROSS THE ROOM One number, as large as the screen allows. The exercise plays in a band above it while you copy the movement, and a bar along the bottom shows every round, step and rest at once β€” so you always know how much is left. YOUR OWN VOICE Record a note for any step and hear it the moment that step arrives. Where you have not recorded one, the phone reads out the step's name as it begins, so you are never guessing what to do next. IT WORKS WITH THE SCREEN OFF The cues sound with the phone locked and in your pocket, and they sound through the silent switch. A timer that goes quiet when you need it is not a timer. TWO ROUTINES TO START WITH A back stretch and an active workout, filmed and ready to run. Change them, or build your own from nothing: your steps, your durations, your rests, and a video or a photograph behind each one. SIX COLOUR THEMES The original gold, plus Aquatic, Nature, Candy, Energy and Lagoon. Chosen in the settings, applied everywhere the app draws β€” the running screen included. Every one is measured for contrast, so the countdown reads the same in pink as it does in gold. NOTHING LEAVES THE PHONE No account, no sign-in, no analytics. The app holds no network permission at all, so it could not send anything anywhere even if it were asked to. Your recordings and your pictures stay in the app's own storage and are deleted with it. MADE TO BE USED MID-SET Large type, high contrast, full VoiceOver support with each phase announced as it changes, and haptics for when the ear misses a cue. Twenty-seven languages.

About

Cadence Intervals

Features

Cadence Intervals is not just a timer that counts seconds. It knows what you are doing in every segment, and it keeps the beat for you. Three things a plain interval timer does not do One. Every segment carries its own exercise. 1300+ movements grouped by chest, back, shoulders, legs and core, fully offline. Pick one straight from the library while building a sequence. Not sure how a move goes when it comes up? Tap it for step-by-step instructions. Two. A metronome on your work intervals. Adjustable from 40 to 240 BPM, layered on top of the work segment. Jump rope cadence, punch rhythm, jumping jack pacing: follow the beat instead of counting in your head. Three. Cues mix into your music. Apple Music and Spotify keep playing, never pause, never drop in volume. Cues still sound with the silent switch on, and fire on time on the lock screen and in the background. READY IN TEN SECONDS - Three dials for work, rest and rounds, down to the second - Save any setup as a preset and start it with one tap - Ten templates: Tabata, HIIT full body, boxing rounds, run intervals, bike sprints, jump rope, core, strength, burpees and stretching BIG AND LOUD - Full-screen digits readable with the phone on the floor, three meters away - Prepare, work and rest each have their own color - Voice announces every segment, with a 3, 2, 1 countdown before each switch - Seven cue sounds with their own volume slider, vibration on or off CUSTOM SEQUENCES - Give every segment its own length: 5 minute warm-up, 40 second squats, 20 second rest, 1 minute plank - Drag to reorder, swipe to delete, repeat the whole sequence as many times as you want SHARE YOUR SESSION - A results card is generated when you finish, ready to save or share CLEAN BY DESIGN - No ads, no account, no network, your data stays on this device - Available in English, Simplified and Traditional Chinese, Japanese, Korean, German, French, Italian, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Russian and Arabic
