Vector Drive
Read full descriptionHide full description
VectorDrive is a physics-based puzzle racer where the car you build is your answer. Build from scratch with bodies, as many as eight wheels, ballast, springs, and timed boosters. Snap parts together, study the terrain, then press Go and watch physics take over. -- BUILD. TEST. IMPROVE. -- Each level is a short engineering puzzle. Connection lines and a live engineering overlay reveal axles, suspension, centre of mass, and build health before the run. Wheel size, wheelbase, ground clearance, weight, and boost timing all change the outcome. Build something sensible—or an eight-wheel oddity—and learn from what happens. The first 10 Zen levels are included. Optional level packs expand the campaign with 10 advanced Zen puzzles and the 5-level Crazy Zone. -- LOOKS LIKE A SKETCHBOOK -- The whole game is rendered in a minimalist ink-on-paper style. Lines feel hand-drawn. Physics feels weighty. It's the kind of visual style that's calm to look at even when your car is tumbling off a cliff. The included "Zen Line" theme keeps everything clean and focused. Three optional visual themes—Napkin Doodle, Blueprint, and Crayon Box—change the paper and ink, never the physics. -- WHAT'S INSIDE -- - Car builder with bodies, up to eight wheels, ballast, springs, and timed boosters - Visible part connections, centre of mass, and build diagnostics - Per-level part budgets that turn every build into a puzzle - Rocks, tunnels, low-grip surfaces, jumps, and collectible bolts - Physics simulation: real momentum, gravity, and wheel traction at work - 10 Zen levels included, with optional advanced Zen and Crazy Zone packs - Zen Line theme included, with three optional cosmetic themes that preserve identical physics - Everything Bundle: unlock all premium content in one go -- OPTIONAL IN-APP PURCHASES -- VectorDrive is free to play. The first 10 Zen levels and the complete core building system are included. Premium options: - Cosmetic theme packs - Advanced Zen Levels Pack - Crazy Zone Pack - Freestyle Mode with unlimited parts - Everything Bundle Every purchase is a one-time unlock. There are no subscriptions, ads, or energy systems. -- DESIGNED FOR LANDSCAPE -- VectorDrive is built for landscape orientation, giving the workshop and physics action room to breathe. Whether you play for five minutes or an hour, each experiment feels complete. Build it. Test it. Improve it.
ROTGRADE

Drive until the fuel runs out. Everything in the way is already dead. ROTGRADE is a hill-climb driving game with a body count. One road, one tank, and broken ground between you and the next fuel drum. Hold the throttle and the nose comes up. Lift over a crest and you land flat. Get it wrong and you finish the run on your roof. SIX MAPS, NOT SIX SKINS Roadside is where you learn the car. Mountain Pass climbs the steepest ground in the game. Dust Bowl is flat and bleached until the floor drops out from under you. City Limits is the flattest road and the busiest. Industrial has the longest launches. Night Run is the city after dark, where your headlights are the only warning you get. Each one opens up as your best distance grows. THE CROWD IS WORTH SOMETHING Not every body scores the same. Civilians are soft and everywhere. Roadworkers, punks and bikers are worth more. The ones in helmets and body armour are worth steering for, and there is one out there worth three of anybody else. Chain them together and the multiplier climbs with you. SIX VEHICLES Start in the Ute. Work up through the Dune Buggy, the Family Sedan, the Muscle, the Hot Rod and the Camper. Light cars spin up easily and land badly. Heavy ones plant themselves and shrug off a bad landing, but they take their time coming round in the air. UPGRADE WHAT MATTERS Engine for speed off the crest. Suspension for the landings. Fuel for the distance. Torque for the rotation that gets your nose up and your wheels back underneath you. No timers. No lives. No waiting to play. Just the road, the fuel gauge, and however far you can get before it runs dry.

Verdict
The clearest difference is ads: Vector Drive at none against ROTGRADE's shown. ROTGRADE's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 5 weeks) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.
