Ankipan
Read full descriptionHide full description
Ankipan is a flashcard app built the way an iPhone app should be: a stack of cards you flip and swipe, with a serious spaced‑repetition scheduler doing the remembering. **Study by swiping** Cards sit in a pile. Tap to flip, swipe right for Again, left for Good, up for Easy. Undo is one tap away. A session ends with a small recap you can share. **Answer the way that fits** A card can simply flip, or ask you to type the answer, say it aloud, or pick it from four options drawn from your own deck. Spoken answers are matched by reading, so kanji and kana of the same word both count. **Hear it** Speech fields are read aloud in their language, and a word can be pronounced through its reading column so it always comes out right. **Decks are tables** Every deck is a simple table: fields you name, card kinds you choose — which fields are shown, which are revealed, how you answer. Start from a template, import a CSV/TSV from Files, Numbers or Sheets, or type rows yourself. Edit any deck later and give it an icon. **Or describe one** On iPhones with Apple Intelligence, write a sentence — "50 everyday Spanish verbs with an example sentence" — and Ankipan proposes the fields and fills the rows on‑device. Everything it makes is editable. **Scheduling that remembers for you** Reviews are scheduled with FSRS‑6, the modern open‑source spaced‑repetition algorithm: fewer reviews, better retention, no settings to tune.
