This is a personal expense-tracking application designed for individual use. It provides a comprehensive overview by displaying both actual payment dates and the specific billing periods to which expenses belong, helping you better understand your monthly cash flow and financial obligations. You can log details such as payment dates, coverage periods, accounts used, usage amounts, and notes. For payments that span multiple months, you can either distribute the cost evenly or enter the amounts month-by-month; the system ensures mathematical consistency through precise, integer-based calculations. The billing cycle page allows you to categorize entries by status: unrecorded, recorded, verified, not applicable, or pending re-verification. Analytical tools—including donut charts, bar charts, line graphs, and waterfall charts—illustrate the composition and trends of your spending, with the ability to trace back to the original bills. The archive section stores historical expenses and deposit transactions, continuing to track any outstanding refund amounts even after an item has been archived. Settings include account categorization, theme customization, local backup and restoration, and data export to spreadsheet format.

iCapinalp is a personal ledger built around a three-level hierarchical category system. It provides a comprehensive overview, breaking down total amounts, transaction counts, and percentages layer by layer; clicking on any amount allows you to trace it back to the original transaction. Recording entries is fast and efficient, facilitated by a structured path-based selection system, a list of frequently used items, and an on-screen numeric keypad—with the option to attach photos or existing images of receipts. Transaction records can be grouped by date or category path, filtered by account, migrated across periods, or linked to refunds. The category system supports adding, renaming, reordering, moving, merging, and archiving; the app displays the potential impact of any changes beforehand to safeguard existing data. Analytical insights are presented through bar charts, donut charts, and line graphs, illustrating hierarchical rankings, period-over-period differences, and monthly trends. The app offers centralized management for accounts, themes, privacy locks, local backups, spreadsheet exports, and monthly reports. Amounts are stored as whole-unit integers (e.g., in cents), and categories are linked via stable, unique identifiers—ensuring that every income or expense entry remains clear, traceable, and well-organized.
