Verdict

The call

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Quick Key at none against MarkSheet's 1. Quick Key also leads on ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (75% vs 57%). MarkSheet's advantage is rating (4.8 vs 4.5) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, update cadence and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MarkSheet sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Quick Key asks for nothing beyond the download.

ReceptionRating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings

MarkSheet holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Quick Key has 226 ratings behind it against 24, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 75% of Quick Key's written reviews are positive against 57% of MarkSheet's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

UpkeepUpdate frequency

Quick Key ships an update every 3 weeks, MarkSheet monthly. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
