The Orcas App is the component of the Orcas Flowmeter solution that connects your iPhone to the innovative Orcas Sensor to measure fluid flow through pipes. The companion Orcas, and Cypress flowmeter sensors are compact, clamp-on ultrasonic transducer devices that sense fluid flow through a pipe wall and wirelessly transmits flow measurements to the Orcas App using Bluetooth Low Energy. The Orcas App guides you through your setup, then displays the readings taken by your Orcas Sensor. The App remembers your location specifications so you’re always ready to take additional readings. This app puts critical data for CIRCOR products directly in the hands of operators when and where it is most needed – in the field! Users are able to scan a QR/NFC tag located on the product to obtain specs, maintenance procedures, drawings, and support information that is specific to that unique product. Users are also able to manage their installations through assigning installation detail, uploading field photos, and keeping maintenance notes within the app. The app also brings the SMARTs of CIRCOR’s support staff out into the field – allowing you to increase uptime and enabling CIRCOR to support the critical things your business does to keep us all safe, productive, and moving!
