Verdict
The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Bandcamp at none against Psychopathic's 1. Bandcamp also leads on ratings volume (38K vs 1) and chart position (#122 vs unranked). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Psychopathic sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $9.99 per month. Bandcamp asks for nothing beyond the download.
Psychopathic holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Bandcamp has 38K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
Bandcamp ships an update every 3 weeks, Psychopathic every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
