Verdict
The clearest difference is ratings volume: &pizza at 13K against Chicatana's 2. &pizza also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks). Chicatana's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
Chicatana holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: &pizza has 13K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.
&pizza ships an update weekly, Chicatana every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
