Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: Librista at 4.8 against Libib's 4.4. Libib's advantage is review sentiment (74% vs 46%) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
Librista holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.4. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 1.2K and 2.6K respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 74% of Libib's written reviews are positive against 46% of Librista's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Libib ships an update fortnightly, Librista every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 5, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
