Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: Good Inside at 4.9 against Mood's 4.3. Good Inside also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs every 7 months) and ratings volume (14K vs 31). Mood's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 2) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Good Inside sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $84.00 per 3 months. Mood asks for nothing beyond the download.
Good Inside holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Good Inside has 14K ratings behind it against 31, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 88% of Mood's written reviews are positive against 85% of Good Inside's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Mood ships an update every 7 months, Good Inside every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
