Verdict
The clearest difference is price: MTG Trades at Free against QR Widgets's $0.99. MTG Trades also leads on ratings volume (1.1K vs 2). QR Widgets's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 61%) and rating (5.0 vs 4.6). On update cadence, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

MTG Trades is free to download; QR Widgets costs $0.99 up front. MTG Trades sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and QR Widgets sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
QR Widgets holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MTG Trades has 1.1K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 61% of MTG Trades's written reviews are positive against 100% of QR Widgets's.
