Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: RM Play at 4.6 against Globe Soccer's 3.5. RM Play also leads on review sentiment (67% vs 54%) and ratings volume (297 vs 54). Globe Soccer's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and update cadence (every 3 days vs every 2 months). On price, ads and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. RM Play sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $40.00 per year. Globe Soccer asks for nothing beyond the download.
RM Play holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: RM Play has 297 ratings behind it against 54, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 54% of Globe Soccer's written reviews are positive against 67% of RM Play's.
Globe Soccer ships an update every 3 days, RM Play every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 7, 2026 respectively.
