Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: Fieldwire at 4.8 against Proxxi's 3.0. Fieldwire also leads on ratings volume (14K vs 6) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 5 weeks). Proxxi's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Fieldwire ships an update every 2 weeks, Proxxi every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
