Verdict
The clearest difference is ads: 어미새 at none against SSG.COM's shown. 어미새 also leads on review sentiment (99% vs 76%) and rating (4.9 vs 4.7). SSG.COM's advantage is update cadence (every 10 days vs every 5 months) and ratings volume (3K vs 25). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
어미새 holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SSG.COM has 3K ratings behind it against 25, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 76% of SSG.COM's written reviews are positive against 99% of 어미새's.
SSG.COM ships an update every 10 days, 어미새 every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
