Blumenfield, "How Should We Teach Our Children to Write? Cursive First, Print Later!" The British Dyslexia association recommend that children learn the continuous cursive style. The cursive style has some significant advantages for Dyslexic students. The key advantages to this system are: * By making each letter in one movement, children’s hands develop a ‘physical memory’ of it, making it easier to produce the correct shape; * Because letters and words flow from left to right, children are less likely to reverse letters which are typically difficult (like b/d or p/q); * There is a clearer distinction between capital letters and lower case; * The continuous flow of writing ultimately improves speed and spelling.

About Swiss German and this app Swiss German, known as "Schweizerdeutsch" or "Schwizerdütsch" in the local dialect, is a fascinating and unique aspect of Swiss culture. It's not a standardized language like High German that is spoken in Germany, but rather an informal collection of dialects spoken across Switzerland, and as it doesn't have a standardized form, there's no one correct way to write it. Instead, it's primarily a spoken language that continues to change and develop. This app includes words and phrases in English with the Swiss German translation inspired by the Zurich region dialect. The translation is provided both in written and spoken format and is a representation of one way that the words and phrases can be spelled and pronounced, to help you to start to communicate and navigate like a local.
