Verdict
Dice Tech Careers and Layoff Alerts both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Layoff Alerts's written reviews are positive against 34% of Dice Tech Careers's. Layoff Alerts also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 2 months) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). Dice Tech Careers's advantage is ratings volume (17K vs 3). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.
