Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: Orange Max it at 4.2 against Switchn's 3.0. Orange Max it also leads on ratings volume (568 vs 50) and device support (3 vs 1). Switchn's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
Orange Max it holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Orange Max it has 568 ratings behind it against 50, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 17% of Orange Max it's written reviews are positive against 24% of Switchn's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Orange Max it ships an update every 5 weeks, Switchn every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
