Both are free to download. PoolExpert.com sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Spordle asks for nothing beyond the download.
PoolExpert.com holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 4 and 2 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 20% of PoolExpert.com's written reviews are positive against 38% of Spordle's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
PoolExpert.com ships an update every 2 weeks, Spordle fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
