The NNAT® (Naglieri Nonverbal Ability Test) is a nonverbal group-administered ability test for grades K-12 that assesses students' thinking and problem solving abilities. Unlike assessment tests, which measure what a student has already learned, abilities tests are intended to examine a student's aptitude, with a premium on analytic and problem-solving skills over specific information. The latest version is the NNAT®3. It takes 30 minutes to complete. It includes 48 questions. These questions are broken down into four unique question types.
