Shivr is the dating app where your voice is your first impression. No photos on the swipe deck, just thirty seconds of someone speaking, and the question of whether you want to hear more. THE EXCHANGE Record a 30-second voice bio. Answer a daily prompt with a few sentences of warmth, wit, or curiosity. Browse the Discover stack and swipe based on how someone sounds. Their laugh, the pause before a thought, the small details that a photo can never carry. When you both like each other's voice, it's a match. Open Letters and a chat is waiting. VOICE NOTES, NOT FOREVER Voice messages between matches play twice and then disappear. No replays after that, no screenshots. The moment is the moment. Send something you mean, not something you can take back later. PHOTOS UNLOCK WHEN YOU'RE READY Faces stay sealed until you both tap to unseal them. By the time you see each other, you already like who you've been talking to. No catfishing, no surface-level swiping. Two voices, then two faces. In that order. THE EDITORIAL FEEL Shivr is built like an editorial print magazine: cream paper, ink-black type, one red accent. Calm where other dating apps are loud. Slow where they push you to swipe faster. Designed for people who want to actually meet someone, not collect impressions. WHAT'S INSIDE V1 • 30-second voice bio answering a daily prompt • Voice-only Discover stack (swipe, super-star, pass) • Letters tab, inbox of incoming likes + match conversations • Voice messages that play twice, then disappear • Photo reveal gated by mutual consent • Daily prompts in four moods: passionate, dreamy, fiery, calm • Push notifications when someone likes or super-stars you • Editorial woodcut illustrations throughout YOUR VOICE IS YOUR SUPERPOWER If you've ever felt like the dating apps are stacked against people who don't photograph well, or just don't want to be reduced to one, Shivr is built for you. The world's first voice-first dating app. Listen first. The rest follows. Shivr is free.
