Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: Tru at 4.0 against Goldair's 3.3. Tru also leads on update cadence (every 2 months vs every 6 months) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 13.0). Goldair's advantage is ratings volume (12 vs 4). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
Tru holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 3.3. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 4 and 12 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 20% of Tru's written reviews are positive against 25% of Goldair's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Tru ships an update every 2 months, Goldair every 6 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
