Topo360

Topo360 is a visual-first climbing platform that lets you explore real climbing routes through immersive 360° panoramic photos. Instead of relying on static topos or outdated sketches, Topo360 allows you to virtually stand at the base, move along the wall, and view belay stations and anchors with realistic perspective and clarity. Our goal is to make route discovery intuitive, engaging, and visually accurate. By providing panoramic views of climbing walls, approach trails, and ledges, Topo360 helps climbers get a true sense of the terrain before setting foot at the crag. Each panorama is captured from key points—such as the base, belay stances, or anchors—so you can explore the climb in full context. Every photo on Topo360 is annotated for easy navigation, showing visual markers and directional cues that guide you through the route. You can trace the general line of the climb, recognize transitions between pitches, and identify belay ledges or anchors as they appear in real life. While Topo360 doesn’t yet include precise pitch information such as lengths, the visuals and direction indicators make it easy to understand how the route unfolds on the wall. For multi-pitch routes, connected panoramas let you move between belays and view the climb’s vertical progression. This immersive approach offers a clear sense of exposure, spacing, and flow—giving you a more complete understanding than any flat topo can provide. Topo360 is not a replacement for guidebooks or local topos. It’s a supplementary visual resource designed to enhance preparation and complement written beta. Guidebooks supply grades, protection details, and route descriptions; Topo360 brings those words to life with real imagery. Together, they give climbers a fuller, more accurate picture of the climb. With panoramic photography and intuitive annotations, Topo360 provides a modern way to explore climbing routes. You can zoom in to study rock texture, wall angle, and bolt placement, or pan out to see approach paths and neighboring lines. The platform helps climbers visualize everything from belay stance comfort and anchor positions to exposure and descent options—key insights that support better planning and safety. The annotation style is clean and minimal, highlighting directions and key points without distracting from the natural landscape. The result is an immersive interface where climbers can explore, learn, and plan efficiently. Topo360 continues to expand, adding routes and crags across popular climbing areas worldwide. Our focus is on capturing iconic and high-traffic destinations, ensuring climbers always have access to reliable, current visuals. Whether you’re previewing a climb before your trip, confirming the approach, or simply exploring new lines from home, Topo360 helps you connect with the crag like never before. Through Topo360, we’re building more than a digital topo—we’re creating a visual climbing experience. Every panorama captures the perspective of being on the wall: the view from the belay, the exposure above, the anchor gleaming in the distance. These immersive images inspire climbers to explore, prepare, and appreciate each route before they tie in. Key Features: - Immersive 360° panoramic photos for authentic route visualization - Annotated visuals for easy navigation and directional guidance - Belay stations and anchors clearly indicated in panoramas - Linked multi-pitch navigation from base to anchor - Designed as a supplement to guidebooks and local topos - Expanding coverage of classic and popular climbing areas Topo360 gives climbers a new perspective—built on clarity, immersion, and exploration. It’s not a replacement for your guidebook; it’s your visual companion for discovering climbs in 360°.
