iDefender vs GecApp

iDefender is the Fracarro app dedicated to users who want to manage their own anti-theft system either locally or remotely in a simple and intuitive way. Using the optional module MOD-LAN or MOD-LAN EVO, the app allows you to control all DEFENDER control panels via the new FRACARRO CLOUD, with every internet provider and without requiring changes to your router configuration. Thanks to iDefender and Fracarro Cloud, you can arm and disarm your security system either totally or partially, as Master or custom user. You can also view the event log and activate/deactivate your control panel outputs to enable home automation functions. With the new alarm video verification you can now also receive video notifications from your security system to verify what caused an alarm. New features require DEFENDER Ver 2.9 / DEFENDER HYBRID Ver 4.4 and MOD-LAN / MOD-LAN EVO Ver 3.0 or more recent versions.

GECAPP is a smartphone App, which is able to interface in an easy and intuitive manner with its own devices: GecApp Crono GSM” and “GecApp Crono Wi-Fi”, and remote activator GSM “GSM03”. Through the application, you can select which device to activate and manage it. By operating with the devices, via the App you can know the real-time settings, intervene on the basic functionality, manage thresholds’ temperature alarm, enable and set the antifreeze mode, and check the status of connected devices – equipped with dry contact relay. The programmable thermostats "GecApp Crono GSM" and "Crono GecApp Wi-Fi" are equipped, in addition to the standard relay for temperature management, with an independent auxiliary relay, which allows you, via the App, to activate any other thermoregulation’s devices present in the system, or to activate and deactivate auxiliary loads (electric gates, lighting, irrigation, etc.). When using the App to operate the remote controller GSM03, you can manage all features, as control the two relays, check the status of connected devices to the 3 dry contact inputs and manage the authorizations to enabled users to use the device. In future, it will be added to the App the ability to manage a whole new set of devices on which we are working.
