Proof of your real, meaningful life. Closer is a 90-second daily ritual. Two tiny check-ins a day capture the people, the wins, and the moments you'd otherwise forget — and quietly build an undeniable record that your life is bigger than your feed. THE RITUAL • Morning (30 seconds): how you're feeling, and one intention for the day. • Evening (60 seconds): your mood, who made today better, and one win — no matter how small. It counts even if no one saw it. • Add a moment: attach a photo or a 20-second video selfie to your evening reflection. Your face, your voice, that day — kept. WATCH IT COMPOUND • Your Year in Real Life: a cinematic story of your days captured, people appreciated, and the wins you'd forgotten — proof you lived a meaningful year. • Your Circle: see who actually makes your days better, and get a gentle nudge when someone who matters goes quiet. • Insights, generated on your iPhone: mood by weekday, months side by side, your people's effect on you, and patterns from your sleep via Apple Health — all computed on-device, never on a server. PRIVATE BY ARCHITECTURE Your journal never leaves your control. There are no accounts, no sign-up, and no servers. Entries live on your iPhone and sync through your own private iCloud — encrypted, tied to your Apple ID. We could not read your journal if we wanted to. No analytics, no tracking, no ads. Optional Face ID lock. Fire-safe backups to your own iCloud Drive, one-tap export, and a delete-everything that actually deletes. FREE, AND CLOSEST Capturing your day is free, forever: the full daily ritual, moments, a 3-person Circle, your last 7 days, and a monthly insight highlight. Closest unlocks the full memory: your whole history, unlimited Circle, the Year in Real Life story, and all insights across all time. • $10.99/month, or $69.99/year with a 7-day free trial. • Billed through your Apple account; auto-renews until cancelled in App Store settings, at least 24 hours before the period ends. • Cancel anytime. Your journal stays yours either way. Also included: home-screen widgets, Siri shortcuts, voice journaling transcribed on-device, Apple Health State of Mind sync, and a warm dark mode.
