Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: BePTT at 2.9 against PTT+'s 2.3. PTT+'s advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 6) and review sentiment (34% vs 23%). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.
Scored on Price · Rating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings · Update frequency · Ads · In-app purchases · Monetization · Best chart rank · Devices · Requires iOS
Both are free to download. BePTT sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $1.49 per month. PTT+ asks for nothing beyond the download.
BePTT holds the better App Store score, 2.9 against 2.3. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 8 and 23 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 34% of PTT+'s written reviews are positive against 23% of BePTT's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
