UNHCR Verify Plus is a free mobile app that enables you to verify the authenticity of ID documents issued by UNHCR or it's partners to refugees and asylum seekers. The verification is performed automatically thanks to the QR code that is printed on the ID document. This app is intended for use by government authorities and NGOs who are engaged with UNHCR on refugee protection and assistance work. The app is easy to use thanks to its user-friendly interface. It can be used with or without an internet connection. To use the app, you must sign-in with your social network account, private email or UNHCR corporate email. The verification requires that you have an ID document at hand to be able to scan its QR code.
