Verdict
The clearest difference is price: Touch at Free against Reading Comprehension Grade 4's $4.99. Touch also leads on rating (3.4 vs 1.0) and update cadence (weekly vs every 11 months). Reading Comprehension Grade 4's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 59%) and device support (3 vs 1). On ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Touch is free to download; Reading Comprehension Grade 4 costs $4.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
Touch holds the better App Store score, 3.4 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Touch has 52 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 59% of Touch's written reviews are positive against 100% of Reading Comprehension Grade 4's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Touch ships an update weekly, Reading Comprehension Grade 4 every 11 months. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 2, 2026 respectively.
