Verdict
Fuel Forward and No Pump Fuel both sit at 4.9 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of No Pump Fuel's written reviews are positive against 50% of Fuel Forward's. No Pump Fuel also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 3 months). Fuel Forward's advantage is ratings volume (67K vs 5) and chart position (#209 vs unranked).
