The clearest difference is rating: Geneagraves at 5.0 against znote's 4.0. Geneagraves also leads on iOS requirement (9.0 vs 12.0). znote's advantage is update cadence (every 9 days vs every 4 months) and review sentiment (67% vs 37%). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
Geneagraves holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 1 and 1 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 37% of Geneagraves's written reviews are positive against 67% of znote's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Geneagraves ships an update every 4 months, znote every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 4, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
