Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
NWGS Flex Mobile holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: UH MyChart has 3K ratings behind it against 57, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of NWGS Flex Mobile's written reviews are positive against 50% of UH MyChart's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
NWGS Flex Mobile ships an update every 3 months, UH MyChart every 6 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
