Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: Ezzi Home at 5.0 against HomeSense's 4.3. Ezzi Home also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 7) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 17.0). HomeSense's advantage is ratings volume (80 vs 1) and review sentiment (50% vs 36%). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.
Scored on Price · Rating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings · Update frequency · Ads · In-app purchases · Monetization · Best chart rank · Devices · Requires iOS
Both are free to download. HomeSense sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Ezzi Home asks for nothing beyond the download.
Ezzi Home holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: HomeSense has 80 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of HomeSense's written reviews are positive against 36% of Ezzi Home's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
HomeSense ships an update every 5 weeks, Ezzi Home every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
