Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: Bricks Breaker Quest at 4.3 against ao's 3.3. Bricks Breaker Quest also leads on ratings volume (18K vs 153) and update cadence (every 4 weeks vs every 2 months). ao's advantage is review sentiment (47% vs 38%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.
Scored on Price · Rating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings · Update frequency · Ads · In-app purchases · Monetization · Best chart rank · Devices · Requires iOS
Both are free to download. ao sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and Bricks Breaker Quest sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
Bricks Breaker Quest holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Bricks Breaker Quest has 18K ratings behind it against 153, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 47% of ao's written reviews are positive against 38% of Bricks Breaker Quest's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
ao ships an update every 2 months, Bricks Breaker Quest every 4 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
