Verdict
The clearest difference is price: ZoeLog at Free against ShotBOT's $29.99. ZoeLog also leads on ratings volume (35 vs 2). ShotBOT's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 85%). On rating, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

ZoeLog is free to download; ShotBOT costs $29.99 up front. ShotBOT sells 6 one-off in-app purchases and ZoeLog sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
ZoeLog holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ZoeLog has 35 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of ShotBOT's written reviews are positive against 85% of ZoeLog's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
ShotBOT ships an update every 11 days, ZoeLog weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
