Love it! As a Script Supervisor it’s so nice to have a access to the camera reports without having to hunt them down at the end of the day! Excellent job Zoe!!

Great app!

ZoeLog is a fantastic app! Really changed the work flow for onset note taking. Would love for the app to expand some functionality though so VFX Data Wranglers can use ZoeLog as a VFX Database - feel like this is very doable with a few tweaks that could be optional while setting up a project. Reach out if you want some specific ideas!

Thanks for your review. You can rearrange entries. In the entry list, tap the “more” (…) button in the navigation bar, and select “move entries”. Alternatively, you can change the shooting date and logging time in the entry editor.

Couldn't live without

Back in my apprentice days, it was paper. Now in my full patch days, it is ZoeLog! 🫶

Great app

Wonderful app very helpful for notes especially VfX but it crashes way too much. At least 3x everyday it crashes and I have to restart or it gets stuck during a new report entry. Hopefully bug fixes are in the near future. Thanks

Not responding many times

Great app. I always use it when I'm onset ,but it not responding many times.
and about calendar, why Gregorian and Buddhist are not match same date.

Industry Standard

Finally an app that allows you to track all camera settings, notes and creates great cameras reports automatically! No more using productions clunky .word or .excel files after 12+ hour days to write camera reports! Also team editing/logging for multiple cams and teams!

Great tool

This app is amazing. It simplify the workflow, for the price we are paying we should be able to log in to atleast two device, it's a big let down

I’m glad to hear you like the app. I understand that it is frustrating not being able to share a single account with multiple devices. As an individual developer, in order to continue working on ZoeLog, it needs to make enough money to support me working on it full time. If everyone was able to share a single account, there would be no more ZoeLog. Thanks for understanding.

Changed the workflow for better

I have limited experience writing camera reports but I have enough to know how much easier this software makes your life better with the workflow. Since I started using this, there have been updates. You can tell they’re trying to improve the app as the industry gets busier and a lot younger.

Great app for on-set

As a script supervisor, ZoeLog has made the work flow so much easier. No more paper reports (which was good during pandemic) and the Camera Assistants put the info in ZoeLog, I circled the rakes for their report and note down the info I need for the editors.
So good!

Easy Organization

Our team has been using Zoelog for a couple seasons now and it has been such a great tool. Everyone, including the script supervisor, are able to be on the same page and collaboratively keep all of the work documented, even when some crew are off on a splinter or second unit. The dev is extremely responsive as well. They were able to patch the app and release an update within 24hrs of me bringing an issue to their attention. Great App and worth every penny for the annual subscription.

Notifications!

Please add a notifications feature! I’ve consistently forgotten to circle takes in a timely fashion because I have no one coming up to me with completed camera reports. I’d love to be notified every time camera reloads with the option to be notified every time a new setup and/or take was added. This would help me out tremendously.

Great interface; amazing app

Getting all the data you need from camera without slowing them down has always been a post/vfx issue. Getting it instantly in a very readable format you can create PDFs from is wonderful. No bugging camera; no transcription errors.

Signed up for the full year on day one.

Can’t sign up for an account

Downloaded the app and tried to sign up for an account. Filled it out and clicked sign up, but it doesn’t go anywhere or show any sort of dialog as to why it didn’t want to work. Hope that gets fixed.

Update: so the app doesn’t seem to recognize auto fill at all (like auto filling email addresses) but there’s no warning to tell you that so it just appears to not work until you try typing it in. Also, $5/mo is not worth setting it up unless production is going to pay for it.

Love This App

I’ve been using this app for years and find it extremely helpful.
Now, during a pandemic, this app should take the place of camera reports. This is a change that is long overdue and this app is the perfect way forward for a smooth transition from paper copies to cloud-based.
