Verdict
The clearest difference is review sentiment: Menu del Dia APP at 100% against Hg's 47%. Menu del Dia APP also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.3) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). Hg's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 4 months) and ratings volume (260 vs 1). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.
