Both are free to download. Chord Transpose sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. AirTurn Manager asks for nothing beyond the download.
AirTurn Manager holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 3.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AirTurn Manager has 1.4K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 16% of AirTurn Manager's written reviews are positive against 43% of Chord Transpose's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
AirTurn Manager ships an update every 2 months, Chord Transpose every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
