Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: AirTurn Manager at 4.2 against EFNOTE Tools's 2.5. AirTurn Manager also leads on update cadence (every 2 months vs every 22 months) and ratings volume (1.3K vs 2). EFNOTE Tools's advantage is review sentiment (50% vs 16%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
AirTurn Manager holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 2.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AirTurn Manager has 1.3K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 16% of AirTurn Manager's written reviews are positive against 50% of EFNOTE Tools's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
AirTurn Manager ships an update every 2 months, EFNOTE Tools every 22 months. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
