Verdict
The clearest difference is ads: Legacy Bot Controller at none against Star Wars™ Card Trader's shown. Legacy Bot Controller also leads on rating (4.7 vs 4.3). Star Wars™ Card Trader's advantage is ratings volume (3.2K vs 16) and chart position (#97 vs unranked). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.
Scored on Price · Rating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings · Update frequency · Ads · In-app purchases · Monetization · Best chart rank · Devices · Requires iOS
Both are free to download. Star Wars™ Card Trader sells 13 one-off in-app purchases and Legacy Bot Controller sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
Legacy Bot Controller holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Star Wars™ Card Trader has 3.2K ratings behind it against 16, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 57% of Star Wars™ Card Trader's written reviews are positive against 50% of Legacy Bot Controller's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Star Wars™ Card Trader ships an update every 6 weeks, Legacy Bot Controller every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
