Climb or fall. Jetpack Slinger is an endless grapple hook arcade game you play with one thumb. Hold to hook the nearest pole, swing on the rope, and release at the top of the arc to fly higher. Release early and you waste the swing. Release late and gravity has already taken it back. You get one jetpack burn to get off the ground. After that, altitude is something you have to steal. Your climb bleeds away in free flight; when the bar at the bottom runs dry you start to fall, and the only thing that saves you is hooking another pole on the way down. WHAT'S IN IT • One-thumb controls: hold to hook, release to sling, tap the boost when it's charged. • Real swing physics: every release flies exactly where your momentum points. • Runs last seconds and retry is instant, so one more go is always one tap away. • An endless vertical climb with no top, only your best altitude and your high score to beat. • Chain slings without missing to build a score multiplier. • Launch from a pad on Earth and climb out through eight zones of space, from the stratosphere and lunar orbit to a nebula, Andromeda and a black hole's event horizon. • Every pole is a planet, moon or star: planets to swing on, small moons (harder to catch, worth more) and boost stars. • Grab coins in flight to charge a sonic boom that fires you straight up and shatters the hazard bars in your path. • Spend your coins in the Hangar on eight rocket skins, from the Shuttle to gold Midas and the Void. • A tutorial that slows the world down until you do the thing, instead of a wall of text. • An original adaptive soundtrack: it opens up as you climb and closes down the moment you start to fall. • Plays offline. No account, no sign-in, no in-app purchases. HOW IT'S BUILT No engine and no asset files: every sound and every pixel of this rope swing game is generated in code, which is why it starts instantly. Post your best altitude in a review. I want to know what the ceiling actually is.

Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: Jetpack Slinger at 5.0 against Dimensional's 3.2. Jetpack Slinger also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 1) and update cadence (every 10 days vs every 14 months). Dimensional's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (10 vs 2). On price and device support there is nothing between them.
