CBP Border Wait Times vs SkateSpots+

Knowing land border wait times at the various ports of entry into the United States from both Canada and Mexico can aid the traveler in making an informed decision on when and where to cross the border. The U.S. Customs and Border Protection's Border Wait Time (BWT) app provides estimated wait times and open lane status 24/7 at ports of entry that process commercial vehicles, passenger vehicles, and pedestrians. The BWT app breaks down wait times at each crossing by lane type (Standard, Sentri, FAST, Ready Lane, Nexus, etc.). The BWT app is a free service provided by the Department of Homeland Security/U.S. Customs and Border Protection.

SkateMap is a community-built map for skateboarders. Find spots, share your own, and see what other skaters are riding. Browse a satellite map full of street spots and skateparks pinned by real skaters. Search by city, filter by spot type — rails, stairs, ledges, gaps, bowls, you name it — and find skateparks nearby. Found a spot? Drop a pin, add some photos, and tag it with the details: spot type, difficulty, bust factor (how likely you'll get kicked out), surface quality, and best time to skate. Other skaters will thank you. Every spot shows you what you need to know — photos, ratings, comments, real-time weather, and directions from where you are. The Discover tab keeps things fresh with a daily featured spot, what's near you, recently added spots, trending picks, and curated collections like Best Rails, Mellow Spots, and Gnarly Spots. Rate spots, save your favorites, leave comments, and check out other skaters' profiles. You can even browse as a guest before signing up. Built by a skater. Free to use. Growing every day.
