Verdict

The call

The clearest difference is rating: Guarding Vision at 4.7 against Cloudvue's 3.3. Guarding Vision also leads on ratings volume (22K vs 7). Cloudvue's advantage is review sentiment (50% vs 31%) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Guarding Vision holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Guarding Vision has 22K ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Cloudvue's written reviews are positive against 31% of Guarding Vision's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

UpkeepUpdate frequency

Cloudvue ships an update every 2 months, Guarding Vision monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
