Your voice, again. Koe is an accessibility communication aid for iPhone — a tap-driven app that helps people who find speaking difficult express themselves with their own voice. Recordings, inputs, and AI-generated phrase suggestions all stay on your iPhone. No network. No cloud. UI is in Japanese. Spoken output can be switched among Japanese, English, Korean, and Traditional Chinese. ■ Key features ▶ Sentence completion from a few hiragana letters Type a fragment and get five natural Japanese sentences instantly. ▶ Context-aware reply suggestions Transcribes the other speaker on-device and proposes situation-appropriate replies. ▶ 200+ template phrases across 5 scenes Hospital, Family, Phone, Emergency, Daily — reordered by AI for context. ▶ Personal Voice playback Integrates with iOS Personal Voice so the app speaks in your own voice. Voice data stays on device. ▶ Full accessibility support VoiceOver, Switch Control, Eye Tracking (iPadOS), Dynamic Type. Large tap targets. ■ Privacy by design The app holds no network entitlement. Speech recognition uses Apple's on-device SFSpeechRecognizer. Phrase generation runs on Apple Foundation Model or MLX Gemma 4 locally. Personal Voice never leaves the device. Recordings and inputs are never transmitted. ■ When Koe helps - When speaking requires extra time or effort - When you want to express yourself clearly in noisy environments - During phone calls or face-to-face conversations - As a tool for care partners and support professionals ■ System iOS 18 or later. Recommended: iPhone 15 Pro / 17 Pro or later (Apple Intelligence-capable). Microphone and Speech Recognition access required. Personal Voice optional. ■ Important notice This app is not a medical device. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or condition. Koe is an accessibility communication aid. ■ Developer Daisuke Majima Email: samuraibrothersmail@gmail.com Web: https://john-rocky.github.io/koe-app/
