Verdict
The clearest difference is in-app purchases: MXTNote at none against ReaderView's 1. MXTNote also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.0). ReaderView's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs every 2 weeks) and ratings volume (67 vs 2). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.
