Lghtmtr is a beautifully simple light meter that helps you find — and understand — the ideal exposure settings for a scene. Built for film photographers and anyone learning the craft, it makes the relationship between ISO, aperture, and shutter speed feel intuitive and the visual feedback helps reinforce the connection between them. Take a reading, get your settings, and start exploring. Adjust one value and the others respond instantly. Lock settings to experiment and see how each change affects your exposure. You can easily add camera profiles to the app to limit the possible values to what's most relevant to your camera and lens combination. With a visual reference of the scene behind every reading, Lghtmtr helps you shoot with clarity and confidence.

ExposureFit is a focused reflected-light exposure meter for film photographers and manual-camera users. Point your iPhone or iPad at the scene, tap the area you want to meter, choose your film ISO and aperture, then compare equivalent shutter combinations. Lock the reading and share a compact measurement card. The app derives an EV100 estimate from on-device camera exposure metadata. It does not save camera frames, request location, create an account or upload readings. Your first measurement card is free. A single lifetime purchase unlocks unlimited cards. No ads and no subscription. ExposureFit is an exposure estimator. Verify critical work with a calibrated meter.

Verdict
Lghtmtr and ExposureFit are too close to call on the numbers: across 5 compared parameters — price, ads, in-app purchases and device support among them — neither pulls far enough ahead to decide it. What separates them is feature set and interface, not measurable difference.
