About

HoopsProtocol

Features

Count your makes. HoopsProtocol keeps score of the one drill every player already does โ€” form shooting, alone at a rim โ€” and wraps it in the warm-up, landing and strength work that guards against basketball's worst injuries: the ACL, the rolled ankle, jumper's knee, gone on a rebound, a closeout, a cold first jump. Built with Cape Concierge PT, a Cape Cod physical-therapy practice. THE PRACTICE BOARD Home is a coach's half-court diagram: each section anchored to the spot where its work happens โ€” Pregame at the center circle, Ball Work in the paint, The Weight Room, Bounce for landing, Postgame for recovery and The Scorer's Table for handouts. Over 60 drills across six sections, each with its cues written out โ€” a structure a coach can run, not a video library to scroll. The shooting and ball-handling sections are filmed rep by rep. FORM SHOOTING THAT KEEPS SCORE Nine timed stations, Mikans to free throws, that run themselves โ€” with two thumb-sized make and miss buttons, a shot chart drawn on the floor your session happened on, and a short history of past sessions. THE TAPE, COURTSIDE Start a session and its clips save to your phone, so a gym with dead Wi-Fi still plays every one; Settings can keep the full library. Sideline mode makes the buttons bigger and the screen brighter, and touch lock ignores a stray bump while the tape rolls. The practice clock runs by hand, on work-and-rest intervals, or by stations, and announces what's up next. Music plays under the drills, mirror flips a clip for the whole line, and AirPods, a clicker or Siri can run it. LANDING IS A SKILL The Bounce section teaches it directly โ€” snap downs, drops to stick, single-leg landings โ€” because the mechanics that keep a knee healthy are trainable, and almost nobody trains them. NO ACCOUNT, NO SIGN-UP SHEET No sign-in, no password, no roster. Install it and every section is already open, with free drills in each one โ€” nothing to configure before a session that tipped off ten minutes ago. HOOPSPROTOCOL PRO Pro unlocks the rest of the library: the vertical plyometric block and the filmed shooting and ball-handling work. Choose a monthly or an annual plan, or buy it once and keep it โ€” every way in opens the same drills. Both plans start with a week-long free trial for new subscribers, renew automatically at the price shown until canceled at least 24 hours before the period ends, and can be managed or canceled in your Apple Account settings or from the app's Settings; the one-time purchase never renews. Restore with the same Apple Account. What sits in the open tier is a coaching decision and may be adjusted as the program develops. Terms of Use: https://playprotocol.tatzel-labs.com/terms Privacy Policy: https://playprotocol.tatzel-labs.com/hoopsprotocol-privacy COURTSIDE CALCULATORS Sweat rate from a weigh-in and weigh-out, a single-leg hop screen with the left/right difference worked out, acute-to-chronic workload so a training spike shows before it costs you a player, and heat-index guidance for gyms with no AC. Screening tools for a coach, not a diagnosis; anything that hurts goes to a clinician. HANDOUTS FOR PARENTS AND PLAYERS Clean one-pagers you can text to a parent or print for the locker room. READABLE COURTSIDE, QUIET ABOUT YOU Type scales with your text size, VoiceOver reads every control, and it follows your light or dark setting. And there is nothing to track: no account, no advertising, no analytics, no tracking SDKs, no health records โ€” the courtside calculators work out a number on your device and keep nothing. The one thing the app can send is the optional "ask CCPT to reach out" form in Settings โ€” an email you type, sent only when you tap the button. Nothing is sold or shared with anyone else, ever. The program โ€” the drills, the progression, the coaching โ€” is built with Cape Concierge PT. The app is published and supported by Tatzel Labs LLC. Questions? Email support@tatzel-labs.com.
