Verdict
The clearest difference is price: SoundEcho at Free against Blind Drive's $3.99. SoundEcho also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 92%). Blind Drive's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and rating (4.7 vs 4.3). On ads and device support there is nothing between them.

SoundEcho is free to download; Blind Drive costs $3.99 up front. SoundEcho sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Blind Drive asks for nothing beyond the download.
Blind Drive holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Blind Drive has 41 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 92% of Blind Drive's written reviews are positive against 100% of SoundEcho's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Blind Drive ships an update weekly, SoundEcho every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and September 25, 2026 respectively.
