Verdict
The clearest difference is ads: Bike Computer at none against MiCycle's shown. Bike Computer also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (345 vs 60). MiCycle's advantage is rating (4.5 vs 4.2). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MiCycle sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Bike Computer sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
MiCycle holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Bike Computer has 345 ratings behind it against 60, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 48% of MiCycle's written reviews are positive against 47% of Bike Computer's.
MiCycle ships an update every 2 months, Bike Computer every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
