EVO BIRD holds the better App Store score, 3.7 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AR Reads has 46 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of EVO BIRD's written reviews are positive against 47% of AR Reads's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
EVO BIRD ships an update monthly, AR Reads every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 2, 2026 respectively.
