With Blood pH, you can quickly determine the acid-base disorders of your patient, follow their evolution graphically, and see whether it’s adequately compensating for them. If it is not, Blood pH will also report the disturbance that’s preventing this. All this information is inserted visually, in a beautiful interactive graph, in order to let you better understand what’s happening. When appropriate, Blood pH also lets you calculate the Anion Gap or the A-a Difference, to obtain a better characterization of the source of the disturbance. Features: - Interactive color graph where you can plot, with a touch of the screen, your patient’s disturbance and see the relationship between pH, PaCO2, HCO3 and Standard Base Excess. - Choose between the physiological model (HCO3) or Standard Base Excess for plotting and calculate the disturbance. - Store previous disturbances and plot them on the screen to follow their evolution - Grayscale version of the graph, with increased contrast between elements - Share the color or grayscale graph as a PDF - Context sensitive Anion Gap and A-A Difference calculators to better characterize the disturbance - Insert pressures as mmHg or KPa - The A-a Difference calculator can use your current atmospheric pressure to improve its accuracy - Universal App with iPad and iPhone support

CODE STATUS IS AN EDUCATIONAL EMERGENCY MEDICINE SIMULATION. Step into the emergency department and take on realistic, interactive patient cases. Examine patients, interpret ECGs and imaging, make treatment decisions and see how your choices shape the outcome. Designed for Medical Students, Residents, Physicians, Physician Assistants, Nurse Practitioners, Nurses, Paramedics, EMTs and other Medical Learners. Created by a Board-Certified Practicing Emergency Physician and grounded in evidence-based clinical guidance. TAKE THE CASE Meet a patient with an unknown diagnosis. Take a history, perform an exam, order and interpret tests, commit to a diagnosis, treat the patient and decide what happens next. LEARN FROM THE OUTCOME Patients may improve or deteriorate based on your decisions. Learn from missed diagnoses, delayed recognition and treatment decisions in a safe, repeatable environment. Review the outcome, understand what happened and try another approach. SCORE. REVIEW. REPLAY. Each case is scored across diagnosis, testing, treatment, timing and disposition. Scores are structured educational feedback on what you did well and where you can improve. Replay cases, try different approaches and build confidence. SHIFT BRIEFING AND DAILY CHALLENGE Each shift, an attending suggests a patient, but you are always free to choose your own. The Daily Challenge offers a quick clinical question from a case you have completed, followed by a short explanation. HIGH-ACUITY RESUSCITATION Code Mode puts you in the middle of life-threatening emergencies where seconds matter. Recognize danger, prioritize interventions and deliver the right treatments in the right order. WHY SIMULATION MATTERS Emergency medicine requires more than recalling facts. It requires recognizing deterioration, acting on incomplete information and making time-sensitive decisions under uncertainty. Patients can deteriorate quickly, requiring urgent resuscitation or bedside procedures. Code Status includes them, presented clinically, without gratuitous detail and only where educationally relevant. EVIDENCE-BASED ATTENDING'S NOTES Practice first. Learn deeply afterward. Attending's Notes explains the medicine and clinical reasoning behind your decisions, helping you understand not just what to do, but why. More than 250 clinical sources are cited across the library, including guidelines, consensus statements and supporting studies. References are available in the app. Make the Call adds quick bedside questions. A GROWING CASE LIBRARY Cases span Cardiovascular, Neurologic, Respiratory, Gastrointestinal, Infectious, Obstetric, Genitourinary, Musculoskeletal and Critical Care emergencies. New cases are on the way. TWO COMPLETE CASES ARE FREE Try two complete cases free, from presentation through treatment, outcome and review. Premium unlocks the growing case library. EDUCATIONAL SIMULATION ONLY All patients and clinical scenarios are fictional and created for education. Medications, investigations and procedures are represented for simulation purposes. No case depicts a real person or clinical encounter. Code Status is not a health service and is not intended for real-world patient care, diagnosis, treatment or clinical decision-making. It does not provide medical advice, hold patient health information or connect to electronic health records, hospital systems, medical devices or Apple Health.
