The clearest difference is ratings volume: Catholic Answers at 2.3K against Confirmation's 2. Catholic Answers also leads on update cadence (monthly vs every 2 months). Confirmation's advantage is iOS requirement (12.2 vs 15.1). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Catholic Answers against 5.0 for Confirmation. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Catholic Answers has 2.3K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.
Catholic Answers ships an update monthly, Confirmation every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
